Terms of use

Last updated 8 October 2026. These terms are between you and MatchIdeal, 19 Poole road.

Who can join

You must be 18 or over, legally free to marry, and looking for marriage. You must pass our ID and selfie check, and use only your own identity and recent photos of yourself.

What we provide

We suggest members who fit your requirements, and whose requirements you fit. We verify identities, but we can’t guarantee anything a member tells you, and we can’t promise that you will find a partner. Meet in public, involve family if you wish, and never send money to anyone you meet here.

How you must behave

Be honest and respectful. Don’t harass, threaten, deceive or ask anyone for money. Don’t use the service for business, promotion or anything illegal. We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, and we may report serious matters to the police.

Payments

First Three: €10 for one round of three matches.
Weekly Three: €20 a week for a new round each week, until you cancel. You can cancel any time from your account; it ends at the close of the week you’ve paid for.
Coins for extras beyond your 3 options in a round (an extra match, or revealing someone outside your 3 who liked you): €5 each for the first 2, then €10 each. Liking someone is free.
Expert requirements help: €200, one-off.

Your matches are delivered as soon as you pay. By paying, you ask us to start straight away and accept that once a round has been delivered you lose the right to cancel that purchase. If something goes wrong with a round, contact us and we’ll put it right.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you write and upload. You let us use it only to run the service, for example to show your profile to your matches.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from your account page.

Our responsibility

We are responsible for providing the service with reasonable care and skill. We aren’t responsible for the actions of other members. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of Ireland. If you live elsewhere in the EU, you also keep the protection of your own country’s consumer law.
